About LivestockDirect.net

LivestockDirect.net is one of the fastest growing businesses in the Livestock Industry. It provides full-color printing services to seedstock breeders around the United States. From our facilities, we can print and ship your sale catalog or other marketing materials in five business days.

We can offer such affordable pricing on our full color print because we choose to work with printers whose printing presses allow them to print low quantities of catalogs (under 10,000) at an affordable price. We also leverage the quantity of catalogs we print to insure the lowest price and highest customer service possible. As a company whose roots are firmly planted in the Livestock industry, we understand the unique time constraints and challenges you face trying to compile yearling weights, scrotal measurements and ultrasound data for your sale catalog. That is why our number one priority is reducing your "pre-sale stress". How do we do this?

  1. We guarantee a fast and simple process. After receiving the design files, we will have your catalog printed in full-color and shipped from our facilities within 5 business days.

  2. Choose any designer you want. It's your right to feel comfortable with the team you've chosen to design and produce your catalog. We will print anyone's design.

  3. Maximize your catalog's reach. As a courtesy to our customers, we put every catalog we print online in our page-flipping technology. Use the link to attract potential customers to view your sale offering online.

Who runs LivestockDirect.net?

Abram and Lincoln Mertz, two brothers who grew up immersed in the seedstock cattle industry, who recognize the importance of your sale catalog. We understand your sale represents a major source of revenue for your operation, and embodies the years of hard work and dedication that have gone into your breeding program.

Abram Mertz

Abram has spent his entire life working within the cattle industry. Growing up he spent his summers attending the American Junior Simmental Association summer classic and working on his family's farming and ranching operation, River Creek Farms. During the winter he would help his Dad prepare the advertising and sale catalog for their annual Simmental and SimAngus bull sale.

"One year, after working to produce the best black and white catalog I could, I received the final version hot of the press from the local printer. This particular year my Dad and I had spent countless hours trying to get the best pictures possible. When I opened up the catalog I felt like I had been punched in the gut. All the photos of our bulls were very dark; they looked like silhouettes against a field background. I was very disappointed and made up my mind that I would publish our catalog in full-color as soon as possible. We spent too much money to risk printing our catalogs in black and white again."

Abram attended Kansas State University and received a degree in AgriBusiness in May of 2011. While in college he was elected to the American Junior Simmental Board of Trustees. After one year, he was elected president. While president he worked to establish the AJSA's website (juniorsimmental.org) and published the inaugural copy of the AJSA Bulletin.

Today, Abram lives in Bartlesville, Oklahoma with his wife Dani.
